 Dr. Michael McRobbie President, Indiana University We were pleased that Dr. Michael McRobbie, President of Indiana University, was our Wednesday, November 16 Keynote Speaker. Dr. McRobbie, a native of Australia, was IU's first CIO and subsequently its VP for Research and then Interim Provost for Bloomington. He is a world renowned leader in research and technology, and he has strongly supported the Kuali community since its birth. He was an inspiration and a motivator, with his distinct views as a university president who is leading in a time of great change.  noVice President and Chief Financial Officer, Cornell University On Tuesday, November 15, our Keynote Speaker was Joanne M. DeStefano, Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Cornell University. Ms. DeStefano has been an advocate for the Kuali community since its inception in 2004, and she spoke at Kuali Days 2011 about her experiences and support for the Kuali Financial System at Cornell University. Ms. DeStefano brought a unique historical perspective about the start-up phase of a robust community for Kuali, as well as a fresh outlook about the future of Kuali as it continues to embrace very diverse constituents. Joanne DeStefano oversees the Divisions of Financial Affairs and Information Technology at Cornell University, which includes the units of University Controller, University Business Service Center, Financial Research Administration, Supply Management Services, University Treasurer, University Bursar, University Policy Office, and the Chief Information Officer. She is active nationally in COGR, NACUBO, and the United Way. |
